Joanna Baker is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Physical Therapist. She received her Master's Degree in Psychology from The London School of Economics, and earned a second Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. Her Physical Therapy education and training was accomplished at the University of Liverpool, in England. Joanna is a Certified Biofeedback and Neurofeedback Therapist. She specializes in relaxation training, stress management, biofeedback, as well as group and individual psychotherapy.
Combining the Mind-Body expertise of our respective disciplines, we have worked as an interdisciplinary health care team for over 25 years.
Dr. William Baker is a Licensed Psychologist. He received his Doctorate in Psychology from Northeastern University. He also holds a post-doctoral master’s degree in clinical psychopharmacology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Baker completed his Internship at The Massachusetts General/ Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, and his Residency in Psychology at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Baker has been in the practice of Psychology and Behavioral Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and Sarasota Florida for over 30 years.
Devin Baker, Practice Manager
Devin received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. While at UCF, Devin worked as a communications technician, facilitating communication among people with hearing difficulties. He is currently Director of Video Technology Services in a Town Government setting. He has experience in Library Science, having worked for several years in a Public Library. Devin completed an Internship at Suncoast Behavioral Medicine as an Administrative Assistant, and after having completed his college degree and gaining valuable experience in other areas, he has returned to Suncoast as our Practice Manager. Shane Baker, Pain Management Tech
Shane received his Bachelor's Degree from The University of South Florida. He completed an Internship at Suncoast Behavioral Medicine as a Psychological Assistant. Shane currently works as a Medical Services Coordinator in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. He has recently joined our practice as a Psychological Assistant.
